Supply of Passenger and Baggage Screening Services at Armidale Regional Airport

⁠⁠⁠As the screening authority for Armidale Airport, Armidale Regional Council is committed to ensuring the security of passengers, aircraft and members of the public that utilise the airport by delivering efficient, compliant and robust aviation screening services.

Council is now seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to facilitate passenger, checked baggage and occasional freight screening services at Armidale Airport.

Screening will be undertaken in full compliance with all applicable legislation and the Aviation Screening Notices, with an initial term of a three (3) years from the effective date with the option to extend for two (2) additional terms of one (1) year. The indicative scope of the screening services required to be undertaken is set out in detail in schedule 1 to the Proposed Contract.

Current screened flight schedules vary from two (2) to four (4) flights per day. Council will look favorably upon Tender submissions that offer innovative solutions that provide flexibility and efficiency in rostering, without compromise to safety and compliance.
