Marthakal Homelands Housing Restoration Project

The Marthakal Homelands & Resource Centre Aboriginal Corporation (Marthakal) invite contractors with construction delivery experience in East Arnhem Region to complete housing restorations to 7 homes across 3 Homelands on Elcho Island - Dhambala, Galawarra & Ngayawilli.

The work has been scoped in consultation with Homeland residents and involves replacing windows, roofs, gutters, repairing building structures, addressing water ingress, waterproofing, cleaning, electrical, plumbing, and more.

Practical Completion for the project is 21 October 2026.

While a general scope of works has been developed and provided as part of the tender documentation, Marthakal encourage applicants to attend an all-day site visit on Wednesday, 4 February 2026, to confirm measurements and materials required for accurate pricing. Noting that applicants are responsible for any inconsistency or discrepancy between the scope of work required and the price submitted by the applicant.
