Main Street Trader and Pop-up Vendor Expression of Interest

Expressions of Interest are now open for the 2026 Barossa Food & Wine Village, to be held on Murray Street Tanunda on Saturday, 11 April 2026 from 3:30pm to 9:30pm as part of the AFL Gather Round.

This vibrant, family-friendly event will transform Tanunda’s main street into a lively village atmosphere, featuring a live music stage with local artists and a headline act (to be announced soon!), a dedicated Barossa wine village, pop-up food and beverage vendors, kids’ activities, and live broadcast of the footy action on the big screen. Expect a feast for the senses as local restaurants, cafes, and cellar doors take to the street with alfresco dining and drinks.

Opportunities are available for both Tanunda Main Street traders and Pop-Up Vendors to be involved in the event.

Who can apply?

Tanunda Main Street Traders:

Tanunda Main Street traders may apply to extend an alfresco dining or trading area directly in front of their business as part of the activation.

Pop-Up Vendors:

Expressions of Interest are invited from Pop-Up Vendors, with priority given to local Barossa and regional businesses. Vendors will be selected based on quality, authenticity, and diversity of their products.

Site information and fees:

Main Street Traders

Picket fencing will be provided by The Barossa Council. Traders are responsible for supplying all additional infrastructure, including tables, chairs, and service areas. The alfresco activation fee is $75 per business location.

Pop-Up Vendors

Pop-Up Vendors will be allocated a designated 3m x 3m site within the Barossa Food & Wine Village on Murray Street. Vendors may request multiple sites, subject to availability. Vendors may choose to use a marquee; however, all marquess and associated infrastructure must be supplied by the vendor. Each 3m x 3m site is $100, space is extremely limited, and all site allocations are subject to approval.

All interested traders and vendors must complete the Expression of Interest Application Form via the link below; please ensure you select the correct form for either Main Street Trader or Pop-Up Vendor.

Expressions of Interest close at Close of Business on Wednesday, 4 February 2026.

Please note: Submission of an Expression of Interest Form does not guarantee selection. Participation is not confirmed until applicants receive direct communication from The Barossa Council Events Team.
