Festival of Footy - Associated Events Program - Expressions of Interest Now Open.

AFL Gather Round aligns with school holidays across multiple states. With all 18 AFL clubs in South Australia and thousands of interstate visitors travelling to the state, this period presents a strong opportunity for local businesses to tap into the increased visitation.

The Festival of Footy Associated Events Program is free to join and gives Barossa businesses the chance to be part of the Gather Round buzz by offering events, experiences or special offers that welcome visiting fans and highlight what our region does best.

Running across the two weeks before and after Gather Round, the program is designed to convert footy traffic into meaningful local impact—encouraging visitors to stay longer, spend more, and explore South Australia beyond the games.

What’s Included?

Businesses that submit an Expression of Interest by 06 February 2026 (and are approved) will:

•  Be featured in a printed Festival of Footy brochure distributed to visiting fans.
•  Receive online promotion through SATC and Barossa Australia channels.

Miss the print deadline and you can still be part of the action through online listings.
