Wet and Dry Hire (Refresh)

⁠⁠⁠Existing Suppliers who are already appointed to ROPS 2881 Wet and Dry Hire, DO NOT need to re-submit a tender. This Refresh is for new Suppliers only.

Invite: Cairns Regional Council is seeking submissions and competitive rates from a variety of suitably qualified and experienced Contractors for the hire of mobile and fixed plant and equipment for Wet Hire (with Operator) and Dry Hire (without Operator). Council provides a range of construction and maintenance services on the existing infrastructure and civil assets that require the use of various plant and equipment.

Enquiries: Tender enquiries, questions or clarifications should be directed via the online forum. Cairns Regional Council officers are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the tender. The forum will close five days prior to the closing time and date. Please ensure that all questions, information requests and clarifications are posted prior to this time.

Lodgement of Submissions: Completed responses must be lodged by uploading the submission to the etender portal, using the response forms within the tender documentation.

We strongly recommend that you begin uploading your tender submission files at least two (2) hours BEFORE the tender closing time.

Late, verbal or emailed tenders may not be accepted and will be subject to Councils sole discretion.

Submissions will not be opened publicly. The lowest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted.

Council reserve the right to change the specifications prior to making a decision on the submissions received in response to this invitation.

Council may invite all Respondents to change their submission to take into account any change in the tender specifications.

Tenders are to remain valid for a period of 120 days from the Closing Time.
