Request for Tender - Beach Outlet Renewal - Kalakau Ave, Forresters Beach

Central Coast Council is seeking Tenders for the engagement of a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor for the construction of a new stormwater outlet, composed of a concrete drop structure and rock fill bag scour protection.

The existing stormwater outlet structure at Forresters Beach has experienced severe and ongoing deterioration over a number of years, as a result of sand dune erosion caused by uncontrolled stormwater discharge and coastal processes. Site access is limited and the works will require a high level of site management and appropriate machinery selection.

A non-mandatory tender briefing will be held on Tuesday, 3rd March 2026 at 10:00am. Please register your attendance to Kellie Neville - kellie.neville@centralcoast.nsw.gov.au by Monday 2nd March.

Attendees are to meet at the carpark on Kalakau Ave (beside the amenities block), 60m northwest of the location of the proposed outlet structure.

Tenderers are reminded that the vegetated area between Kalakau Ave and the proposed outlet structure is coastal vegetation and tenderers should not be walking through the fenced off areas.
