Design and Construct Single Accessible Toilet for Coolah Carpark

Background

The Coolah carpark is located behind the Coolah Library. Attached to the rear of the library building is a set of public amenities. These amenities do not meet accessibility requirements under AS1428. Council is proposing to construct a standalone single accessible toilet and carpark on the northern side of the existing public toilets.

General scope of works

1. Design and construction of a single unisex toilet that incorporates requirements of the AS1428

2. Modification of the existing hardstand parking space to be compliant with the requirements for an accessible off-street parking space, along with new work or modifications as required to provide compliant hardstand access to the new amenities.

3. Reticulation and connection to existing power, stormwater, water and sewage at the Community Hall/ Library.

4. Minor works as required to relocate gym equipment and make good all disturbed surfaces
