Project goals

Seeking information from established car rental service providers to better understand current battery electric vehicle (BEV) service offerings, fleet availability, operational limitations (if applicable), and partnership opportunities to inform the development of a government program designed to increase community exposure to and confidence in BEVs, ultimately supporting greater EV uptake across NSW.

Scope

The program seeks to:

  • Increase awareness and understanding of EVs
  • Promote EV adoption and emissions reduction
  • Engage and educate the community
  • Collect feedback and insights
