The Shire of Harvey is seeking an artist or creative team to design and construct an entry statement for Roelands that reflects the unique identity, heritage and community spirit of the area.

This is a design-and-construct project that will involve collaboration with the shire and the local community to ensure the final piece is meaningful, inclusive and visually striking.

The entry statement should:

• Celebrate Roelands’ history, culture and sense of place.
• Incorporate community input and reflect local values.
• Be durable, safe and suitable for a public outdoor environment.

What is the Project Timeframe:

• Expression of Interest Closes: 13 February 2026.
• Artist Submissions Presented at Concept Forum for Councillor Feedback: 17 February 2026.
• Invitation to Submit Concepts Issued: Late February 2026.
• Artists Submit Concepts: 27 March 2026.
• Artist Selected: 02 April 2026.
• Community Workshop Facilitated by Artist: 07–11 April 2026.
• Detailed Design Submitted: 30 April 2026.
• Detailed Design Presented to Concept Forum: 19 May 2026.
• Project Commences: 25 May 2026.
• Project Complete: 30 June 2026. Expression of Interest Opens: 19 January 2026.
