Provision of Solar Maintenance Services

The Town of Port Hedland is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to provide ongoing preventative maintenance and cleaning for rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) systems installed across a number of its facilities and residential properties.

The objective of these maintenance services is to preserve asset performance and to sustain energy, cost and emission reductions in line with the Town’s Environmental Sustainability Strategy.

Locations under this contract will include the following:

•  JD Hardie Youth and Community Hub, South Hedland
•  Wanangkura Stadium, South Hedland
•  South Hedland Skate Park, South Hedland
•  Civic Centre, Port Hedland
•  Gratwick Aquatic Centre, Port Hedland
•  Depot Administration Building, Wedgefield
•  Milpaku Kuma Community Centre, Port Hedland
•  Five residential properties, Port Hedland

In addition to the above, planning is currently underway for the installation of new solar systems at several sports and recreation facilities. These systems are planned to be installed and commissioned by March 2027, and will also form part of the ongoing maintenance under this Contract:

•  Motocross action park, Pippingarra
•  Faye Gladstone Netball Pavilion, South Hedland
•  Rovers Football Club, Port Hedland
•  Speedway Club, Pippingarra
