Burdekin Netball Facilities Upgrade Project - Tender Open

The Burdekin Netball Association Inc. has released a Request for Tender (RFT) for the design and construction of major facility upgrades at 50 Twelfth Avenue, Home Hill.

Funded by the Queensland Government’s Game On! Program, the project includes:

• • Demolition and earthworks;
• • Eight (8) new hard-surfaced netball courts with lighting;
• • Covered roof over two courts;
• • Clubhouse rebuild; and
• • Landscaping, civil works and access improvements.

Contractors with experience in sporting facility upgrades and Design & Construct delivery are encouraged to apply.

UPDATE

27/01/26 - It has been noted there are two times listed in the Tender Documentation for the Site Visit on Wednesday 28th January at the Home Hill Netball Courts.  The Site Visit is scheduled to occur at 10:00am.  If all interested parties could please meet at the Clubhouse on the Twelfth Avenue side of the courts.

27/01/26 - Site survey files have been added to the tender documents to allow earthworks analysis.

QUESTIONS FROM SITE VISIT

30/01/26 - Q: Are the two titles shown on the existing site plan in Appendix A (1H61685 and 3H61675) still separate?

A: Burdekin Netball has been working with Burdekin Shire council and these titles are now combined and the entire lot is one parcel.

Q: Are there existing site plans available that show utilities like sub-surface drainage etc?

A:  Project Manager to work with Burdekin Shire Council and upload these plans if available.

02/02/2026 - Utilities plan from Burdekin Shire Council has been uploaded to Tender Documents.  Please consider utilising Dial Before You Dig for additional information.
