Old Dampier Power Station Stacks Demolished Material Disposal

Rio Tinto requires a supplier to complete waste (rubble) removal and disposal activities. The waste is Class 3 & Class 4 material created by the demolition of the Old Dampier Power Station Stacks.

Scope to include:

•  Truck and driver supply.
•  Following disposal procedures.
•  Transport to and unloading at nominated Tip facility
•  Supply of adequate number of trucks to maintain loading rate.

This scope of work is a summary description of goods and/or services that may be required by Rio Tinto and may be subject to change in Rio Tinto’s absolute discretion.

It is recommended that Suppliers review the portal business details section to ensure all information, including contact email address, annual turnover and employee numbers, is current and accurate.

 As this is an Expression of Interest (EOI) only, the specifics of the package of work relating to breadth of scope, location and timing may be subject to change. If successful, the Supplier/s will be notified of any changes prior to award.

Before commencing services for Rio Tinto, suppliers are assessed against factors relevant to the scope of work they are to undertake, including safety, health, communities' processes and policies; insurance coverage; applicable certifications/licences; and key management personnel. These assessments are mandatory and require Suppliers to enter an agreement with a third-party platform provider, Browz, at the Supplier’s cost. Please consider the above assessment process prior to confirming that your participation in the assessment process.
