Transitional Aged Care Program (TACP)

The Services to be supplied or performed include the provision of non-clinical support services to elderly MLHD patients at the conclusion of a hospital stay.

Scope:

The services that are to be provided at these locations are non-clinician services which include:

• Domestic assistance including general laundry

• Personal care

• Assistance with daily living activities

• Assist with client gaining access to the community

• Provision of transport to medical appointments within the local area

• Meal preparation and nutrition assistance including shopping assistance

There is no scope for extra packages.

Provide tender response for both TACP and MPS services combined. Murrumbidgee Local Health District prefer to contract a single provider may contract nominated LGAs in the manner most , administratively efficient, cost effective/best value and as judged on other evaluation criteria for the RFT, including, but not limited to, the Tenderer’s performance, reliability, capacity and compliance with relevant standards. 

MLHD will give preference to Tenderers who can provide the entire range of services required and in all of the required LGAs.

The contract period shall be for an initial two (2) year term plus three (3) x one (1) year extensions dependent on Government funding and mutual agreement to extend.

Additional details/instructions

A briefing session will be held for Tenderers on Thursday 5th of February 2026 at 1:00pm via MS Teams. Agency Representatives involved in this RFT will be available at the session to answer queries regarding this RFT and the RFT Process.
