Tender Description

Project goals

TfNSW facilitates vehicle towing services for the removal of vehicles impeding traffic flow. The existing supplier-panel is due to expire 2026. This RFP is to establish a renewed "Vehicle Towing Services Panel" for accident towing, standby, on-call, and special events. The proposed contract period is for a 5-year initial term with two one-year extension options (i.e. up to 7-years total).

SCOPE:

To gain access to the RFP sourcing event and documents in TfNSW's "ARIBA" system, respondents are required to register their interest by sending an email to tss.bidder@transport.nsw.gov.au with the following information:

Additional details/instructions

Conditions for participation apply:

1. Supplier must hold, or demonstrate can obtain, requisite types and levels of insurance, including:

- Public and Product liability - $20M for each occurrence and in the aggregate

- Workers Compensation - As per the relevant legislation

- Motor vehicle insurance - $20M for any single occurrence

- On Hook or Hook liability insurance - $500k for any one claim

2. Holds required industry Category-A (Accident & Trade) or Category-B (Trade) licenses.

3. Supplier will need to complete all RFP document "Returnable Schedules" in full, and as instructed, located within TfNSW ARIBA system
