Mudgee Waste Facility - New Modular/Portable Office

The successful respondent will be responsible for the DA application, design, supply, delivery, and installation of a modular/portable office and training building at the Mudgee Waste Facility, meeting the following specifications:

Building Layout & Dimensions

• Approx. 12m x 6m modular building or similar size.
• Minimum two enclosed offices (minimum size: 3m x 3m) located at one end of the building (South end – see site map).
• Central open space for a training room.
• Entry via ramp providing accessible entry to the training room and offices.
• All site works to be completed/prepared by respondent.

External Specifications

• Colourbond roofing and guttering.
• Downpipes connected to stormwater (connection may be completed later).
• External sliding sash windows (min. 1.2m x 1.2m) with fly screens; minimum one per room.
• Lockable external doors with lever handles and fly screens.
• Full insulation (walls, floors, ceilings).
• Switchboard with RCD protection.

Internal Specifications

Flooring: Commercial-grade vinyl throughout.

Walls: Durable finishes suitable for high-use operational environments.

Electrical/Data:

• Offices: 3 x double GPOs each.
• Training room: 6 x double GPOs.
• 1 x data point per room.
• Climate Control: Split-system air-conditioning sized appropriately for each room.

Deliverables

• Fully constructed modular building meeting all specifications.
• Delivery and installation on prepared site (site to be prepared by respondent).
• Connection-ready utilities (power, data, stormwater integration).
• Installed AC units, switchboard, windows, and doors.
• Access ramps/decking.
• Compliance documentation:
• Electrical safety
• Engineering certifications
• Energy efficiency compliance
• Product warranties
• Compliance with NCC/BCA.
• AS/NZS 3000 (electrical wiring).
• AS 1288 (glazing).
• AS 1428.1 (accessible ramp access).
• Relevant Australian standards for modular buildings.
• Project delivered within agreed timeframe.
• All compliance certificates supplied before handover.
• Zero defects at completion (or rectified within agreed period).
• Energy-efficient AC units.
• Supplier to provide a delivery schedule and progress updates at key milestones.
• A construction certificate for the footings, tie down and stormwater drainage for the demountable building.
• A fire safety schedule.
• An Occupation Certificate.
