The AIATSIS Centre for Australian Languages (ACAL) is seeking a User Experience/User Interface (UX/UI) designer for the creation of an interactive online dashboard for the public to engage with data from the Fourth National Indigenous Languages Survey (NILS4). NILS4 is the most comprehensive national source of data on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander languages. We are looking to design an accessible user interface to visualise data about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander languages, which connects with other internal datasets (e.g. NILS 3 and AustLang) and external databases (e.g. Census data).
