All-in-One Seeder Design - Rehabilitation Team

Scope of Work

Rio Tinto is seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified organisations to demonstrate their capability to support the design and development of a fit-for-purpose seeding system for mine rehabilitation in the Pilbara.

The scope of this EOI is focused on capability assessment and market engagement, rather than detailed design or construction. Respondents are invited to provide information on their experience, technical capability, and resources relevant to the development of mechanical or integrated systems operating in harsh, uneven environments. This includes capability in areas such as system design, seed metering and placement, soil–seed interaction, safety-in-design, integration with mobile plant, and operation on sloped terrain.

Information provided through this EOI will be used to assess respondents’ suitability for potential shortlisting into a subsequent tender or design development phase. Respondents are not required to submit detailed designs, pricing, or commercial offers at this stage. Any detailed scope documentation provided as part of the EOI process will be supplementary to this summary.

As this is an Expression of Interest (EOI) only, the specifics of the package of work relating to breadth of scope, location and timing may be subject to change. If successful, the Supplier/s will be notified of any changes prior to award.
