Expression of Interest: Development of the Former Saleyards Site, Temora Airpark Estate

Temora Shire Council invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified developers or development consortia for the development of the former Saleyards site at the Temora Airpark Estate.

The site forms part of Stage Five of the Temora Airpark Estate and represents one of the final undeveloped land parcels within the precinct. Council is seeking proposals that respond to market demand, support aviation related activity, and deliver long term economic and community outcomes for the Shire.

SITE OVERVIEW:

Location: Former Saleyards site 34 Bartondale Road, Temora NSW

Zoning: SP1 Special Activities

Land Ownership: Temora Shire Council

Council is seeking proposals that:

• enable residential aviation development,

• support commercial aviation and airport related businesses, and

• align with the long-term operation and growth of the Temora Airport precinct.

Proponents are encouraged to propose innovative and commercially viable development models, including but not limited to:

• traditional house and hangar lots

• commercial aviation lots

• hybrid models combining residential and commercial components.

Council has requested that EOIs consider opportunities to accommodate commercial aviation developments, which may include:

• a defined commercial aviation precinct within the subdivision, and or

• land proposed to be retained under Council ownership or provided to Council to support future aviation investment attraction.

The structure, scale and commercial form of these arrangements is intentionally left to proponents to propose through this EOI process.
