Wellbeing and Resilience Program 2025-29

⁠⁠⁠The Department for Correctional Services (DCS) seeks to engage qualified supplier(s) to deliver a Wellbeing and Resilience Program and a Peer Support Program with the following objectives:

• Enhance workforce capacity to thrive within the unique and challenging environments of correctional services.
• Provide targeted coursework, resources, and support to staff cohorts most in need.
• Implement a cost-effective and efficient wellbeing and resilience programme that achieves its intended outcomes.
• Maximise engagement with frontline staff and leadership while minimising risks associated with programme delivery by partnering with supplier(s) experienced in:

        -Mental health and wellbeing support for frontline staff

        -Evidence-based positive psychology approaches

        -Demonstrated ability to meet agreed outcomes

• Develop and deliver training for the Peer Support Programme to ensure Peer Support Officers are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and confidence required to:

        -Act effectively in their role

        -Provide practical peer support in a safe, appropriate, and informed manner
