Remote Piloted Aircraft (RPA) - Drone Services

The Department of Primary Industries, through the National Fire Ant Eradication Program (the Program), is seeking offers for the provision of Remote Piloted Aircraft (RPA) - Drone Services.

Suppliers will be required to provide the following services:

Aerial Treatment and application of eradication treatment product over a vast array of geographical area and obstacles, to assist with the eradication of Fire Ants throughout Southeast Queensland and Northern New South Wales. The suppliers will be required to distribute eradication treatment product in accordance with the Program's current Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) Permits.

The RPA providers will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

5. Aircraft

7. Operational support

8. Insurances

9. Whole of Life support:

10. Quality requirements

11. Testing and calibration

12. Incident Management

13. Fatigue Management

14. Transition In / Transition Out

**INDUSTRY BRIEFING***

This RFQ has an optional industry briefing at 11:00am on Wednesday, 28 January 2026 online via Microsoft Teams. It is not mandatory for Suppliers to attend the briefing session in order to submit a quote. Further information on registration can be found in the Part A - RFQ document.
