Clarence Aquatic Centre Filtration and Backwash System

Supply, install, test, commission, warrant and maintain all equipment, materials, systems and work described in this Specification and depicted in the drawings:

• Two [2x] Pool filters and associated valving to enable backwash functionality

• One [1x] 5000L Backwash buffer tank incorporating High Water Alarm

• One [1x] Buffer tank discharge pump system complete with float valve activation.

• All associated electrical works, including new controls cabinet for system control.

• Disconnect and make good/make safe existing redundant pipework as indicated, including removal from site and all remedial works as required.

• Allow to remove and relocate any Services to accommodate the works.

• All associated builders work, including demolition and making good.

• Commissioning of systems.

• Maintenance of existing systems during the construction period and the new systems during the Defects Liability Period.

• Provide all other design requirements as required and as listed in this specification.

Ancillary Works

Provide all ancillary works and ancillary items, whether called up specifically in the Documents or not, but which are necessary to enable the installation of the mechanical works and for the safe, correct and satisfactory operation and performance of the mechanical systems.
