Transport and Empty Cardboard Skip Bins - Nambour MRF

Tenders are invited for the collection, transport and emptying of cardboard collection hook lift waste, roll on roll off skip bins at eight waste recovery facilities across the Sunshine Coast Local Government Area, and transportation and emptying at Council owned Material Recovery Facility (MRF) in Nambour.

The cardboard will be brought to the MRF in Nambour for processing, with the empty skip bins being returned to their designated locations.

The aim of the service is for Council to provide the community access to cardboard waste recovery and recycling thus avoiding landfill disposal.

Council seeks a contractor with sufficient resources to collect RoRo bins from multiple Council Resource Recovery Sites and Transfer Stations and delivery to Nambour Material Recovery Facility.

Waste transport licences are not a requirement for the fulfillment of this contract.

The contract commencement date is 19 March 2026 with a contract term of thirty (30) months, with an extension option of two (2) further 12 months terms at Council’s sole discretion.
