Overview
Harmony Festivals Grants provide support for the production of the Darwin Waterfront Harmony Soiree and Alice Springs Big Day Out in Harmony. Harmony Soiree and Big Day Out in Harmony are festivals that usually take place in May or June each year to promote the sharing and celebrating of the Northern Territory’s cultural diversity. The types of projects that could be funded include Harmony Soiree Community Stalls, Harmony Soiree School Displays, Harmony Soiree Stage Production and Big Day Out in Harmony Production. Applications are open for 5 weeks from the 2nd Monday of January. Note: From 2026, Harmony Soiree performances will be coordinated and supported through Darwin Community Arts.Accordingly, performance groups no longer need to apply separately for a Harmony Festivals grant. Further information about the registration of performances with Darwin Community Arts will be published on the Office of Multicultural Affairs website in February 2026. Go to Multicultural events | NT.GOV.AU for more information. The guidelines provide information to assist you in applying for and acquitting grants under this program. Prior to submitting your application through GrantsNT, it is recommended you read the grant guidelines, and if required, discuss your project with the Office Multicultural Affairs by phoning (08) 8999 3894 or emailing DPSC.MulticulturalAffairs@nt.gov.au.

- Not-for-profit and/or charitable incorporated community organisations
- Not-for-profit unincorporated community organisation that has an auspice organisation that has agreed to administer the grant
