Midway Road Corridor Design Concept & Estimate

Midway Road provides a key North-South movement on the eastern side of Main North Road through the suburbs of Elizabeth Downs, Elizabeth Park and Elizabeth East. Currently the road cross section is approximately 12.2m wide with marked parking bays on both sides of the road along the corridor.

The City of Playford Transport Strategy 2025 was endorsed by Council on 28 October 2025. The Midway Road Upgrade Project is identified as a high priority in the Transport Strategy due to poor road safety outcomes along the road.

The purpose of this procurement is to provide a Concept Design and Cost Estimate for the entire length of Midway Road from the Main North Road / Fairfield Road intersection to the Main North Road / Woodford Road intersection (approximately 4.1km in length).
