ABOUT THE CITY OF COFFS HARBOUR (City):
Coffs Harbour is positioned halfway between Sydney and Brisbane. Nestled between coastal slopes of the Great Dividing Range and the 80 kilometres of golden beaches that form its boundaries Coffs Harbour has gained a reputation as a dynamic and rapidly expanding economic hub.
ABOUT THIS REQUEST FOR TENDER (RFT):
The City of Coffs Harbour seeking tenders from suitably experienced and qualified contractors to install cathodic protection and perform maintenance works on a bridge located at Orlando Street in Coffs Harbour. This tender is released under City contract CON00722 Orlando Street Bridge Coffs Harbour Installation of Cathodic Protection System and Maintenance Works which will be awarded to a single contractor, however, the City retains the right to make the tender award to more than one contractor where it deems appropriate. The award of tender will require the contractor to be bound by the City's General Conditions of Contract for Services, a copy of which is supplied in the RFT document package.
MANDATORY SITE VISIT
As part of this RFT, the City is holding a MANDATORY site visit to all proponents on 20 January 2026 at 10am (see also section 1.5 of Volume 1 document).

RFT documents may be obtained after registration on the etender portal.
ENQUIRIES:
RFT enquiries should be directed to Mr Daniel Smith via the online forum prior to 4pm AEDST on Thursday 22 January 2026.
SUBMISSIONS:
Completed RFT responses are to be submitted via the electronic tender box only, using the editable MS Word document supplied in the RFT document package.
The City is not bound to accept the lowest priced RFT all or any part of the RFT and reserves the right to conduct the RFT process and select the successful respondent as it sees most advantageous.
The City staff are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the proposal. Late, verbal, faxed or emailed submissions will not be accepted. Canvassing of Councillors and members of City staff other than the contact detailed above by a tenderer may render their tender submission ineligible for evaluation.
