Tender Description
Northern Beaches Council is looking to create formal relationships with food suppliers to provide fresh meat and poultry, fruit and vegetables and prepared and packaged foods for a number of services within the Council. These pre-qualified lists ensure that all suppliers meet the business requirements, have appropriate levels of insurance and comply with Food Regulations and the Food Standards code.
Suitable suppliers are invited to apply for inclusion on a pre-qualified list.
This list will be used by staff across many divisions of Council, including Early Learning, Glen Street Theatre and Hospitality services to select suppliers to supply;
- Fresh meats and poultry
- Fresh fruit and vegetables
- Pre-packages food and supplies for in-house kitchens and catering
- Catering and General Kitchen supplies (non-food)
- Packaged food and non-alcoholic drinks for resale at the Glen Street Theatre kiosk.
- Food and goods are expected to be of a high quality and provide value for money to Council.
The suppliers will be expected to offer a delivery service to Council properties within the Northern Beaches Council area. Food is expected to be transported in an appropriate and timely manner, and safely manner at the required temperature.
