Vanston Baths. Vanston Parade, Sandringham 2219 NSW. Swimming Enclosure Netting and Piles

Bayside Council requires the renewal of an existing swimming enclosure in Vanston Parade, Sandringham 2219, New South Wales.

This project includes but is not limited to:

• The removal of the existing swimming netting and holding brackets at Vanston Baths, Sandringham (Vanston Parade, Sandringham).
• The removal and relocation of an existing Seahorse population on the existing netting (anticipated), which is required to be undertaken only by Contractor with Section 37 NSW DPI Fisheries permit.
• The removal of the existing piles on site, and the installation of 14 new 5 metre embedment, HDPE Sleeved timber piles, with white capping.
• The installation of new swimming netting, including ground chain and stitched bottom edge. New hold off brackets and required bolts to lock onto existing retaining wall as per existing.

It is anticipated that works will commence on site in May/June 2026.
