Pyle Rd East Watermain Upgrade

Whangarei District Council are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to construct a 200mm water main, that will be upsized to allow for the growth planned in One Tree Point and to improve conveyance towards North of One Tree Point.

Pyle Road East watermain is one the undersized mains included in the "Fire main Upgrade Programme". The 50mm rider main that is currently in supply is also at the end of its useful life and is due to be renewed this financial year. The watermain will be upsized to a 200mm pipe to allow for the growth planned in One Tree Point and to improve conveyance towards North of One Tree Point.

Council's preference is for the entire tender process, including downloading tender documents, raising queries and submitting tenders, to be managed electronically using Council's E-Procurement Portal.
