Tree Management Services on Southern Moreton Bay Islands (SMBI)

Council requires competent and reliable Tree Management Services across the Southern Moreton Bay Islands (SMBI) comprising of Russell Island, Karragarra Island, Lamb Island and Macleay Island.

SMBI is one of the fastest growing areas of the Redland City and approximately 10% of requests for tree works received by Council, are within the SMBI boundary, with this number increasing yearly.

At present, Council receives an average of 34 requests per month for reactive tree works and also has a program of proactive works, primarily within its conservation reserves.

Due to the increasing demand and logistical challenges related to transportation and timely responses to tree requests on SMBI, Council invites proposals from businesses equipped with SMBI-based equipment to undertake the scope of work.
