Radiology Reporting and Medical Imaging Services

Project goals

The objective of this RFP is to source radiology providers who can provide expertise in occupational chest imaging, and radiology reporting, assisting with Occupational Lung Disease diagnosis and monitoring.

Scope

Two types of Services are sought in this RFP which allows the flexibility for a provider to tender for one or both. The services are as follows:

•  Medical Imaging Services (CT and Chest X-Ray)

Perform chest HRCT imaging and on occasion perform chest X-ray as well as radiology reporting for all imaging, as referred by DDC through seamless and secure integrated channels. These services are to be carried out in compliance with the standards detailed in Section 4 of Part B of this RFP. Where images are performed by the provider, these are to be shared directly with DDC in DICOM format into DDC Hyland PACS system.

•  Radiology Reporting Services

Review and provide radiology reports as referred by DDC through seamless and secure integrated channels. The radiology reports are to be carried out to agreed timeframes and in compliance with the standards detailed in Section 4 of Part B of this RFP. This will require comparison reporting between current and prior images and reporting on any additional findings. It may require from time to time performing a full review for DDC Scheme requirements.

Additional details/instructions

1. icare Procurement will be closed between 24 December 2025 and 11 January 2026. Requests for information or questions sent to icare Procurement during these dates will be responded to after 12 January 2025 through the Addenda process.

2. Previous Market Notice released in September 2025 indicated that icare will conduct two separate RFPs. The RFPs have been consolidated into one RFP. Respondents may choose to submit a proposal for radiology reporting service AND/OR medical imaging service.

3. An optional virtual market briefing will be held for Respondents and attendance must be confirmed:
