Saibai Aerodrome Refuelling Apron Upgrade

Construction of a concrete apron for equipment storage to replace the existing poor condition bitumen section of the apron. This project is the second stage of a recent project that involved the construction of the helicopter landing area. This project connects to the landing area and aims to ensure the safe storage of fuel pods for helicopter refuelling on island.

The scope of works required under the contract includes but is not limited to:

• Establishment of Contractors Site Facilities;
• Environmental Management;
• Erosion and Sediment Control;
• Provision for Traffic Control (including air traffic);
• Demolition of existing sealed apron area;
• Preparation of Apron Subgrade;
• Line Marking;
• Construction of approximately 324m2 of concrete apron;
• Construction of concrete footpath (if Ordered);
