Boating Infrastructure Optimisation Plan and Management Strategy

As described in the relevant CMP management actions, this project involves the development of a boat ramp and facilities consolidation / rationalisation plan and asset management plan for boating infrastructure throughout the LGA. The project will involve the review of existing boat ramp conditions, facilities, usage, and distribution. It will identify boat ramps that are to be decommissioned, and those to be upgraded.

For those that are to be decommissioned, the plan will identify suitable replacement uses for the location. The consolidation and rationalisation of Council-managed boat ramps provides an opportunity for significant financial savings, environmental stewardship, and improved user experience. This will result in the documentation of outcomes and recommendations within a Boating Infrastructure Optimisation Plan and Management Strategy for the Shoalhaven LGA.
