Tender Description

The impetus of the project was borne of the need for a new library and community facility to cater to the growing community for Cannonvale Qld 4804 and its surrounding areas.

The design for the Cannonvale community facility creates a precinct of engaging indoor and outdoor subtropical spaces integrated and connected into it's parkland and waterways setting. The building and landscaping actively reflect the climate, culture and lifestyle ambitions of the developing community.

Spaces have been designed to be flexible and adaptable in order to support a diverse range of programs and experiences that ensure the needs of the local community are supported as it grows.

The precinct facilitates community interaction and engagement making it the hub and heart of the Cannonvale community (Cannonvale Community Hub). Key building operations were identified as community (library and associated program), and administration (customer service centre).

The project is inclusive of all works described in the design documentation including all works as required to construct a new fully functional and operational Cannonvale Community Hub (refer to Appendix A – Design Documentation Register) (Works).
