Design, Supply and Construct Ten (10) Dog Kennels

The Department of Primary Industries, through the National Electric Ant Eradication Program (NEAEP), requires the design, supply and construction of a permanent structure to accommodate ten (10) dog kennels. The kennels will house odour detection dogs which are a critical component of the NEAEP due to their exceptional ability to detect electric ants with great accuracy.

The kennels are to be built on an existing DPI site Redden Street Research Facility in Portsmith QLD. The Supplier is required to design the kennels in compliance with the Cairns Regional Council’s Local Laws and Policies related to animal management.

This RFQ has a mandatory site visit on Thursday, 15 January 2026 at 10:30am AEST. Three (3) representatives per company will be permitted to attend.
