3.2 SPECIFICATION

All Works described above to be completed in accordance with Department of Transport and Main Roads Technical Standards as applicable.

PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS Schedule A – Moffatt and Marshall Street, Goondiwindi - Roundabout –Supply, Cart and Lay Asphalt

Goondiwindi Regional Council is constructing a new roundabout at the intersection of Moffatt and Marshall St, Goondiwindi. Council requires an asphalt contractor to apply an asphalt surface to the area shown below.

3.2.1 Work Details

3.2.1.1 ALL WORKS ARE TO BE UNDERTAKEN BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 8PM AND 5AM

3.2.1.2 Supply, Cart, Lay and shape Heavy Duty Dense Grade Asphalt (AC 14H mix) to achieve 50mm thick layer to design levels;

3.2.1.3 Asphalt to be placed around traffic islands and roundabout as shown; and

3.2.1.4 Traffic Control to be provided by contractor.

3.2.2 PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS Schedule B – Town Common Road– Surfacing - Supply, Cart and Lay Asphalt

3.2.3 Work Details

3.2.3.1 ALL WORKS ARE TO BE UNDERTAKEN BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 8PM AND 5AM

3.2.3.2 Supply, Cart and Lay one Heavy Duty Dense Grade Asphalt layer (AC 14H mix) nominally min 40mm thick. Area to be surfaced starts at the intersection of Town Common Rd and Barwon Highway and extends west for 750m. Total area to be surfaced is 6588m2.

3.2.3.3 Traffic Control to be provided by contractor.

3.3 TIMEFRAMES

3.3.1 The works under this contract are expected to be completed before 27th March 2026 for Schedule A and 24th April 2026 for Schedule B.
