Ashburton River North Branch – Walkhams Road: Gravel Extraction

The Rivers Section at Environment Canterbury (CRC) manages 59 river and drainage rating districts across Waitaha-Canterbury. CRC is seeking a supplier to extract gravel from within an area of the Ashburton River’s North Branch, off Walkhams Road and stockpile in a designated area of CRC owned land adjacent to the extraction area.

This is a great opportunity for suppliers to support critical infrastructure and contribute to the flood resilience of the Ashburton community.

CRC is seeking to procure a reliable and cost-effective supplier to extract and stockpile gravel from within an area of the Ashburton River’s North Branch near Walkhams Road. CRC has Gravel Authorities in place to undertake this work under GA CRC260170 and CRC260141.
