Provision of Turf Renovation Services (Panel)

The City of South Perth is seeking to form a non-exclusive panel arrangement of suitably skilled contractors for the provision of turf renovation services across its Active, Passive, and Foreshore Reserves, including potential works at Collier Park Golf Course.

These services will provide ongoing maintenance and improvement of the Citys 17 hectares of Active Reserve turf surfaces, carrying out essential turf renovation activities such as:

• verti-mowing;
• verti-draining;
• top dressing;
• lown mowing;
• top making;
• sweeping; and
• debris removal.

The successful Tenderer(s) will be expected to have sufficient resources and capability to deliver, at a minimum, the activities outlined in this indicative program, refer to Scope/Specification clause 2.6.11.

The Contract duration shall be for three (3) years with two (2) options to extend for a further 12 months each. Each extension is exercisable at the sole discretion of the City, and is subject to satisfactory contractor performance, operational requirements, and budget availability.

It is the Citys intention to award the Contract as a panel arrangement of two (2) highly experienced Contractors. It is important to note that the City provides no guarantee of a minimum volume of hectares to be treated or serviced annually under this Contract, as all works will be assigned solely at the discretion of the Principal.

By lodging a submission in response to this RFT, the Tenderer shall be deemed to have undertaken the following due diligence enquiries and satisfied itself as to such enquiries:

1. By physical assessment and inspection of the Property and how it relates to the surrounding area.

2. By enquiry to the appropriate authorities and technical experts,; and

3. By perusal and examination of any service or other records pertaining to the condition of any Property.
