Tender Description
This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
The Australian Government is inviting the identified organisation via a one-off ad hoc process to apply to deliver services under the Strengthening Families and Communities – Tangentyere Men’s Family Safety Group from 2025 to 2027.
Under the Central Australia Plan, the Strengthening Families and Communities Partnership (the Partnership) provides $30 million over 5 years (2023–24 to 2027–28) to support place-based initiatives in Central Australia, as part of the Investing in Families measure. This investment will support community-led solutions to improve family and community safety in regional and remote communities across Central Australia, within the Northern Territory.
The Partnership contributes to Target 13 of the National Agreement on Closing the Gap (Closing the Gap): By 2031, the rate of all forms of family violence and abuse against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and children is reduced by at least 50%, as progress towards zero.
The Strengthening Families and Communities – Tangentyere Men’s Family Safety Group grant opportunity directly contributes to the Partnership’s work towards achieving Target 13 by addressing domestic and family violence at its source.
Working with men who have used violence and holding them accountable and supporting them to change contributes to breaking the cycle of violence and improving the safety of women and children. This grant opportunity aims to reduce harm, identify and manage risk to stop violence before it escalates or reoccurs.
Eligibility:
To be eligible to receive a grant, you must be the invited organisation and have received an invitation to apply for this grant opportunity.
Instructions for Application Submission:
By invitation only.
