Burdekin Netball Facilities Upgrade Project – Tender Coming Soon

The Burdekin Netball Association Inc. is pleased to advise that a formal Request for Tender for the design and construction of major upgrades to the Burdekin Netball facilities will be released to market in mid-to-late January 2026.

This exciting project—funded under the Queensland Government’s Game On! Program —will transform the existing site at 50 Twelfth Avenue, Home Hill into a modern, accessible and fit-for-purpose community sporting hub.

Key project components include:

• Demolition of existing infrastructure as required;

• Earthworks and drainage;

• Construction of eight new hard-surfaced netball courts with lighting;

• Covered roof structure over two courts;

• A new or significantly upgraded clubhouse with amenities; and

• Civil works, landscaping, pathways and other.

Contractors with demonstrated experience delivering sporting facility upgrades and/or operating as a Principal Contractor on Design & Construct contracts are strongly encouraged to apply.

The works will be delivered under a Principal Contractor - Design and Construct (D&C) contract and the tender process will follow a competitive and transparent procurement pathway.
