EOIs open for 2026 Childers Festival musicians

Expressions of interest are now open for musicians interested in performing at one of Bundaberg Regional Council’s most popular events – the annual Childers Festival.

Each July thousands of visitors flock to Childers to celebrate the vibrant festival atmosphere.

This year’s festival was headlined by Australian music icon DIESEL, setting the stage for another unforgettable year in 2026.

Artists and bands are encouraged to get involved and showcase their talent to a diverse crowd.

The 2026 Childers Festival will run from 23 to 26 July and will feature:

• Hundreds of stallholders
• Live music across multiple stages
• Dance and cultural performances
• Roving street entertainers
• Carnival rides

Musicians interested in performing are invited to submit an expression of interest here.

Submissions will close at noon on Friday 2 January 2026.
