Dalby Cultural Centre - Construction

Western Downs Regional Council (Council) is constructing a new Dalby Cultural Centre, comprising of an art gallery, multi-purpose cinema, library, visitor information centre, and communal gathering spaces, to create a modern, accessible, and multi-purpose facility that will serve as a hub for community activities.

This project forms part of Council's commitment to providing high-quality public facilities that support social engagement and community well-being.

The scope of works under this procurement includes the construction of the new Dalby Cultural Centre,incorporating structural works, internal fit-out, landscaping and service connections. The objective of this procurement is to engage a suitably qualified contractor to deliver a high-quality facility that aligns with the Council's vision for the Dalby Cultural Centre. The successful contractor will be required to complete the works in accordance with Council specifications, applicable Australian Standards, and industry best practices while minimising disruption to the surrounding area.

The project will maintain budget discipline while meeting community needs. As part of the procurement process, Council may enter an Early Contractor Involvement stage, culminating in submission of a Best and Final Offer, between shortlisted tenderers and Council.
