Waikato Bridge Scour 2025-26

This is a Physical Works contract that involves scour remediation works for five structures within Region 3 (Waikato). Four structures are in rural locations, while SH3 Mangaohoi Stream Culvert is in an urban location. All physical work are expected to be undertaken between February 2026 and June 2026. All works must be complete prior to the end of the Financial years

The Contract Works comprise of:

a) SH25 Pitoone Stream Culvert - SH25/099/10.84

• Culvert lining

b) SH3 Mangaohoi Stream Culvert - SH3/016/10.42

• Culvert lining

c) SH2 Wing Wall (Crownhill Road) - SH2/073/6.63

• Wingwall repairs. Note that SH2 Crown Hill Road Bridge site is geometrically constrained as is in the Karangahake Gorge.

d) SH1N Mangatawai Stream Bridge - SH1N/763/10.69

• Rock bag installation

e) SH31 Owaikura Stream Culvert – SH31/000/7.17

• Culvert Lining

Only tenderers pre-qualified to level Bridge Construction – Level C (3C) under the terms of the NZTA Prequalification System are eligible to submit a tender.

All responses to tender queries/clarifications will be answered by Notice to Tenderer which will be available in the addenda.

Tender submissions shall be uploaded to eTender box in one single file.
