Tender Description
The Council of the City of Sydney ("the City") invites Requests for Tender from suitably experienced organisations to provide resources in the area of .Net development and testing services in accordance with this request.
The City is pursuing an exciting digital transformation agenda to improve the digital offerings it provides to its community of residents, workers, businesses, and visitors. Beginning with the award-winning transformation of the City's corporate website in 2020, the City's Digital Services Program (DSP) is now actively engaged in initiatives that will:
1. improve the digital experience for community members as they apply, report and request City services;
2. streamline the digital processes that support the delivery of those services; and
3. enhance community consultation initiatives.
The DSP oversees the development of several digital projects within the community-focused digital space. The DSP has a consistent pipeline of projects across a five-year roadmap and is aiming to work with a partner(s) that can support its digital transformation aims over the long term.
The OneCRM and Smart Digital Forms(SDF) projects are central to the success of the DSP. Both projects and others in the DSP require the ability to provision quality, experienced development resources (onshore and/or offshore) with the flexibility to support:
1. short-term resourcing (1 - 3 months) daily rates; and
2. long-term resourcing (3 months +) daily rates.
The City proposes to enter into an agreement to procure the professional services in the area of .Net development and testing services for a period of 3 years with an option provided to the City to extend the arrangement for an additional 3 years .
The City will assess all tender submissions based on value for money considering both qualitative criteria and overall cost.
Tenderers must submit tenders in the manner required by this RFT.
The City is committed to creating opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander owned businesses. The City encourages First Nations People businesses, Local SME, Start-ups as well as social enterprises (including Cooperatives) to work with us and respond to this opportunity.
