Orange Sports Precinct Field Lighting

Council are seeking a contractor to;

1. Supply and install light poles and lighting for 8 playing fields including web based control system. Design is provided in tender documents (200 Lux for fields, 300 Lux for Main Cricket wicket). Note - All conduit and pits have been installed around the eight playing fields. WAE to be provided. The Contractor is responsible to make connection to the new substation, run all electrical wiring and setup. Expected start date April 2026. The contractor must check that the existing pits and conduits reference in WAE documents provided are suitable for the installation.

2. Supply and install light poles and lighting for Athletics precinct including web based control system. Design is provided in tender documents (500 Lux). No conduits or pits are in place. Expected start date July 2026.

3. Provide 2 priced options for John Davis Stadium. (Expected start date April 2026):

A. Supply and install light poles and 500 Lux lighting for John Davis Stadium including web based control system. Design is provided in tender documents. No conduits or pits are in place.

and

B. The Contractor is to provide a price to Design and Construct poles and lighting for John Davis Stadium to 1400 Lux, including web based control system. Preference is for light poles to have similar locations to the 500 Lux design provided, to be consistent with DA approval. The 1400 Lux lighting is intended to be suitable for hosting a televised NRL game.

4. All lights installed are to be aligned and audited during commissioning

5. 1. The contractor is required to provide a design for light poles and foundations
