Build Whitsundays Regional Water & Sewer Network Upgrade REOI

Whitsunday Regional Council (Council) is requesting expressions of interest from contractors/suppliers (Respondents) to delivery three projects in the Whitsunday Region.

The projects deliver infrastructure upgrades to Whitsunday Regional Council’s water and sewer networks. The works on all three projects will commence in 2026 and must be completed by the 30th of June 2028. Further details are set out in Schedule 1 – Project Objectives of the Request for Expression of Interest (REOI) Document.

Please note: Schedule 1 - The Project Objectives is an indicative summary of the proposed projects and final alignments are subject to change.

These projects are being funded by the Department of State Development, Infrastructure and Planning under the Residential Activation Fund (Construction) and all works being completed are bound by the principles of the Queensland Charter of Local Content.

Council proposes to conduct a Project Briefing on Tuesday, 9th December 2025 at 11.00 am (AEST) at Council’s Proserpine Administration Building, 83 – 85 Main Street, Proserpine Qld 4800. Council will be also be providing a remote access for this Project Briefing via Microsoft Teams if unable to attend in person.

Attendance at this Project Briefing is not mandatory. Please confirm your attendance at this meeting via contracts@whitsundayrc.qld.gov.au no later than 12.00 pm (AEST), Friday, 5th December 2025. If wishing to attend remotely please state details of the personnel and their email addresses for Council to email link to access.
