The City of Gold Coast is a large, dynamic local government organisation that plans for, delivers and maintains services and infrastructure for a fast-growing and diverse coastal region stretching from Beenleigh in the north to Coolangatta in the south. Employing around 4,000+ staff, the organisation combines strategic leadership with operational delivery across a mix of community-facing and technical functions to support more than half a million residents, businesses and visitors annually.
The City is seeking to engage with suppliers to gather current information about supplier capability in supplying uniforms to their staff. The City‘s strategy is to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of its staff uniform program, across a number of areas. This includes revising the approach to uniform allocation, efficiency of uniform try-on locations and delivery, modern and cost-effective branding opportunities, compliance with workplace health and safety standards required across the large range of workplace requirements, and sustainable practices that are occurring across the supplier base.
