Firefighting Water Tank Supply & Installation – Lochlees

Central Highlands Regional Council is seeking quotations for the supply and installation of a 50,000-litre firefighting water tank system at Lochlees Landfill, 73 Lochlees Road, Emerald QLD.

The works include:

•  Supply and installation of a compliant firefighting-grade water tank
•  Removal of the existing layflat hose system
•  Installation of permanent 4-inch PVC pipework to an external boundary fill point
•  Installation of 4-inch control valves
•  Construction of a truck fill point suitable for firefighting appliances
•  Commissioning, testing, and provision of as-constructed documentation

Delivery is required onsite at Lochlees Landfill, with works expected to commence following contract award and be completed within the contractor’s proposed timeframe. All works must be performed in an operational landfill environment and comply with relevant WHS, environmental, and industry standards.
