The opportunity - What we need

The purpose of this RFP is to engage a suitably experienced Security Services supplier for the provision of professional security services at New Plymouth District Council facilities.

The successful service provider will be required to provide comprehensive security services across a diverse range of environments. These include council buildings and facilities, as well as public events such as sporting fixtures, concerts, and other community events. The scope of work includes the provision of static guards, patrols around specified facilities/ venues, alarm monitoring, after hours response to various categories of alerts and other ancillary/complementary services.

We are seeking a security services provider with a demonstrated track record of delivering effective security services in complex, publicly visible environments. The ideal supplier will have the capacity to deploy qualified, skilled, and experienced personnel across a variety of settings, including public spaces, council facilities, and major events. Given the dynamic nature of our operations, it is essential that the successful provider possesses exceptional communication skills and the ability to plan, coordinate, and adapt service delivery in response to changing demands.
