HDT Reactor Coil & Circuit Breaker Replacement Works

Horizon Power is seeking Offers to this open RFT for the replacement of age-old unserviceable assets such as reactor coils, Circuit Breakers (CB), and Current Transformers (CT) at Port Hedland Terminal. This equipment was installed in 1985 and have exceeded their design lifespan and now, present a safety and supply interruption risk to Horizon Power.

As part of the work the following new equipment will be installed at Hedland Terminal (HDT)

• 12 x 24kV 2MVAR reactor coils
• 6 x 66kV reactor CB.
• 6 x 66kV CT replacement
• 6 x 220kV CT replacement

Site Visit

A site visit will be held at 18 Anderson Street, Horizon Power Port Hedland Depot, Port Hedland on 8 December 2025 11:00 AM.

Respondents wishing to attend the briefing must register their intention to attend no later than close of business Friday, 05 December 2025 by emailing tenders@horizonpower.com.au and providing the names, titles and contact details of the persons attending the briefing. A maximum of two attendees per Respondent are permitted to attend the briefing if the session is held on-site.

Attendance at the briefing is a pre-requisite to submission and consideration of a bid
