Demolition of Residential Dwelling – Gregory Street, Burketown

Burke Shire Council is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the demolition and disposal of a two-bedroom residential dwelling located on Gregory Street, Burketown. This EOI is being released to assess indicative pricing and contractor capability. Council is not committed to undertaking the demolition works at this stage. Information received will assist Council in determining future options for the property.

Scope Overview

The works generally include:

•  Asbestos testing and reporting
•  Site stabilisation, fencing, and safety signage
•  Disconnection of services (electrical and plumbing)
•  Full demolition of dwelling, shed, water tank, and footings
•  Removal and lawful disposal of all materials at an approved facility outside Burketown
•  Carport on the left-hand side must remain in place

Respondents must nominate the proposed disposal facility and provide an indicative schedule and lump-sum price estimate.
